BPuzzled by Bloomberg, Aptiv: Escape Game and Halloween Movie Night!
Hello everyone! We have an exciting week ahead with several fun events you won’t want to miss. On Tuesday from 5:30–9:00 PM, we’ll be hosting the GEECS x Bloomberg: Bpuzzled Event, where teams of four will use creativity, lateral thinking, and teamwork to solve city-themed logic puzzles. The first-place team will win a trip to New York City to compete in the global finals—plus, dinner will be provided! On Wednesday, join us for the GEECS x Aptiv: Escape Game, where you’ll learn about Aptiv’s Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems while working in teams to solve an exciting escape game. Later that week, we’ll wrap up the week on Friday with a Halloween Movie Night—bring your friends, grab some snacks, and enjoy a seasonal film! Finally, next week on Wednesday, October 29 at 6:30 PM, we’re partnering with Peach Lab Ann Arbor for another GEECS x Peach Lab Workout! Warm up and work out with us as the weather cools down—Tickets are just $10 per person (regularly $28), but spots are limited to 25, so RSVP soon to save your place! As always, you can find more details about these and other upcoming events in the Upcoming Events section below.

We are excited to announce that GradSWE, in collaboration with Aptiv, will once again be hosting the Junior Scouts Robotics Workshop! Aimed at Junior Girl Scouts, the workshop will offer scouts the opportunity to build and code their own robots. The highlight of the event will be an obstacle course challenge, allowing kids to test the robots they build during the workshop. To make sure that all trainings and background checks are completed on time, please register no later than Friday, October 31st, 2025.
In addition to the workshop, we will be hosting an optional training session on Friday, November 14th, 2025 where we will go over how to use the robot kits.
